Most of what I do is decal cars. I love racing so I normally tend to lean that way.I like to make my own Spoilers and Zingers as well, and will add the decals to dress them up a little. Here's some I finished a couple of weeks ago.

I snagged a couple of cars cheap the other day at a yard sale and thought I'd do some body swapping. I picked these two up for a $.50/ea and knew what I needed to do.

So with the help of my trusty dremel and some direction from my 6yo son we came up with these.

This is the first custom I've posted here. Hopefully I'll be posting more often.

Had a little quiet time this afternoon and the chance to do something quick. This futura was in the box and I had just enough flames for it. for some reason the silver body side moulding wouldn't come off with nail polish remover so I just used a black paint pen to cover it.

Well, technically I paid for it but Leon does such great work that I consider these cars a gift from him. Leon does the best custom work that I have personally witnessed. He is a great guy, very reasonable and terrifically creative. I would for sure get more cars from him and I personally reccomend him to anyone looking for the highest quality work. He deffinitley takes pride in what he does and it shows.

I have painted a few diecast bodies and it seems the paint never sticks. I start by stripping the body down to bare metal i sand it with 600 to 2000 grit sand paper depending on the scratches and or dents in it i clean it often with water and a little bit of dishwashing liquid. I rinse it off using a brush to make sure no soap is left wit hottt water. I then use a wax and grease remover making sure to rub it in very well and i also make sure to wipe it all down....

These are my first serious attempts at customs.
Near the end of KB Toys, I was able to pick up a number of calendar girl GTOs at a very reasonable price, so I decided to do a series. Too bad there wasn't a good Mopar in the mix. (the Challengers I bought had way too many issues)
Needed a bit of help from a couple of these for their bases:

Redon A.O.K. with trailer made from the back end of a '34 3 window. Hand made tongue from a piece of flat aluminum and small piece of tubing.

Some knucklehead in Hong Kong thought it would be funny to send these in a padded envelope. Not that they cost much, but they were to be displayed with the WL versions (I like to display both versions together).
