The Club will be holding its next meet on the 14th of this month. The Feature race this month will be Funny car any casting flopper Johnny Lightning, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Tiger Wheels, Ect. Reminder for this month is our November Food drive all attendees if you could please bring two can goods and we will drop them off at the Rhode Island Food Bank. Hello!

I stumbled across this site a little while ago & gotta say...I Love it! The guides are awesome!! I've gotten back into collecting and decided to dig out some die-cast I had stored today and was trying to look some of them up being curious about value on some.

This is the three winners of our September meet. Greg won the stock class with his #2 BWF Camaro, Mike Musotic won the Real Wheels class with his yellow Chevy ssr, and Mike also won the funny car class with his Dodge charger funny from the five pack.

I post these every so often in hopes some one might have more info. I got my first one several years ago from a former JL employee who said Tom Lowe made these to secure the licensing for the Black Beauty name. I have no idea how many were made or if they were even distributed. I scored the second by chance in an auction a year later. I have never seen another one.

05 Lightning Fest Design Team Cars

I've been collecting these since I got my first one at 05 Lightning Fest. They were included in the goody bag given to participants in the (full size) car show. They are signed by the JL design team. They were signed after JL was sold to RC2 but before Tom Lowe left so Tom signed them along with the RC2 folks.

Hit the TRU this weekend maybe it was last weekend, and they put out a mixed case of JL that I had not seen around here before. The Modern Muscle cars scanned at 98 cents each so they cam home with me. Cant beat these for that price. I got a couple at full price too. Paying less than a buck each made paying for the others a little easier.

Now I have a receipt to send in for the Lightning Rod Promo.
